Thanks for dropping in on my blog. I have lived a quiet life in Ottawa since moving here with my wife, Barbara, in 1976. Over the years, I’ve been involved in federal politics, attended grad school, raised a family and worked in the printing industry. A native of Saskatchewan, I haven’t been able to get the prairies out of my system, which accounts for my unreasonable loyalty to the Roughriders.

Family, parish, community volunteering and work command most of my time: when they allow, I dive into my alternate life as a reader. What I’ll do when I grow up is still a mystery.
